  Based in the Southern Highlands, NSW, Ford Kristo has been a photographer for over 30 years and won numerous awards, including a category 1st prize in the BBC Wildlife International. His images are lodged with a number of photo agencies in Australia and overseas.
Ford has published – words and/or images in Australian Natural History, Australian Geographic, Geo (Aust.), Penthouse, The Weekend Australian, The Bulletin, This Australia, Australian Photography, Good Weekend, Simply Living, Nature & Health, Das Tier (West Germany), and various publications by the Australian Conservation Foundation, Wilderness Society, National Parks & Wildlife Service, Environment Australia and the Royal Australian Ornithologists Union.
